What is Myers Briggs?
Have you ever heard someone say something like "I'm an ISFJ" and
wondered what they were talking about? They were describing their Myers
Briggs personality type. Myers Briggs is the most widely used tool for
understanding normal personality differences all over the world. There are
16 unique MBTI Personality Types, and each type reflects a person’s
preferences around how they take in information and make decisions. The
Myers Briggs assessment has been in use for over 50 years and is
administered more than 2 million times a year.
What is the benefit of knowing my Personality Type?
Learning about your Personality Type is like receiving a key that enables you
to decode the blind spots in your life. When you understand your type,
you'll get a clearer understanding of how you process information and your
best learning style. Your communication with people who are different from
you will improve as you better understand their point of view and as you
learn to communicate in a way that they will understand.
